PAGBILAO, Quezon - Mayor Shierre Ann Portes-Palicpic of Pagbilao, Quezon received an award for Outstanding Mayor of the Philippines in the field of Social Services.
Palicpic confirmed the said on the award on March 2, but it was postponed because of coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
The award was given by National Gawad Parangal Awardee.
In 2015, Palicpic also received the Most Outstanding Mayor Award given by Superbrand Marketing International.
In 2018, Palicpic lauded the two families that donated private land for the construction of the new Bigo Talipan Road.
Palicpic said the new road will open new opportunities for the municipality.
She also said it will attract businessmen to invest in Pagbilao.
Palicpic explained Barangay Bigo is one of three areas eyed for the development of their economic potential.
