BATANGAS CITY - Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation (PSPC) and Pilipinas Shell Foundation Inc. (PSFI) formally give an ultrasound machine unit at the Batangas Provincial Hospital through the Malasakit Center in a simple ceremony held at the Provincial Mansion in this city yesterday.

The program was witnessed by Batangas Provincial Administrator Librado Dimaunahan, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Rozvilinda Ozaeta, Incident Commander IATF Batangas Dr. Gerald Alday, Provincial Hospital Chief. Dr. Jose Jessie Villanueva, Mr. Gelo Villar - Chief of staff of Senator Bong Go, Mr. Serge Bernal - PSPC Vice President for External and Government Relations, Mr. Cesar Abaricia-Shell Media Relations Manager, Ms. Pauline Paguia - PSFI Research, Information and Communications Officer, and other Philippine Shell officials.

In a message from Administrator Dimaunahan, he said that the partnership between Shell and the Batangas provincial government is unforgivable because Shell is always there to generously provide for the needs of the Batanguenos.

Paulene Paguia said they are making sure that PSFI's current programs continue to be provided to its beneficiaries and recently they are focusing on Brigada Eskwela which was previously working to help despite the current pandemic.

Gelo Villar, Chief of Staff of Senator Bong Go, stressed the continuation of this work especially helping people in need of medical care through the Malasakit Center. It also expressed the senator's gratitude to the Batangas provincial government for its continued care of the Batanguenos, the Philippine leadership Shell for its relentless support to stakeholders, to the frontliners who tirelessly provide services despite the hardships and undergoing tests caused by COVID 19 and the staff of the Care Center who continue to provide services for the people.

Provincial Hospital Chief Dr. Jose Jessie Villanueva and said that since the opening of the Malasakit Center, so many Batanguenos have been helped and at present, they continue to provide assistance to those in need.

In this regard, Senator Bong Go's office also distributed about 200 food packs to the staff of the Batangas Provincial Hospital.
