LUCENA CITY, Philippines – On Wednesday, September 16, 2020, The province of Quezon reopened and allowed tourists to visit amidst pandemic but safety protocols should be monitored to prevent the transmission of the COVID-19 virus.

According to Provincial Tourism Officer, Alberto Bay, Tourists spots in different towns of Quezon like Tiaong, Sariaya, Atimonan, and Dolores are welcoming local and non-residents to visit the town’s tourist attractions.

Other towns like Lucban, Mauban, Candelaria, General Nakar, San Andres, Calauag, and the Island municipality of Quezon is open also but only for the residents of those provinces, said Bay.

“We’re updating the list every week because local governments also change their quarantine status” he added.
