According to Maridelle Jaurigue, Media Production Specialist at ATI CALABARZON, the purpose of the said webinar is to provide information and skills to participants in the various agricultural activities that they can earn.

“We want to bring agriculture to people’s homes and engage them in agribusiness activities, ” Jaurigue said.

She added that it is also a positive step to spread the awareness and value of planting and educating young people about gardening.

Last year, Agritalk provided various agricultural processes and farming practices, including rice production, corn production, vegetable production, and urban gardening.

This year, when people are only at home because of the pandemic, he said they want to teach different skills that will give them a chance to make a living.
