We all dream of moving to a city where dreams get surreal, whether it is in Paris or New York City or elsewhere we can spark to live the dream. Camie Juan, A Filipina is done dreaming y’all, waking up every day in her cozy Pinterest looking apartment in New York. As an artist or a content creator, we are prone to hear that it is very hard to get a good looking paycheck here in our country also we still have a lot of expectation for the future of art in the Philippines. but in her case, she proved that Filipino creators or independent artist can attain to have a flourishing moment in a known city; living in this city is the meaning of flourishing and success for me, cause it is.

She shows art through filters, her way was to create a mixture of a coffee mood expression through experimenting with color palettes and making it avail ready for people who enjoy adding seasons in their photos, that gave her a unique art venue. Giving us the Emily Vibes but in a photographic way, snapping here and there, showing the diverse corners of NYC in her own takeaway.

Her vlogs will make you droll because of how carefully and artistically it is was filmed, even her travel blogs in Europe is so amusing, In NYC every place is a momentum to take clips because of how the city makes you look like the “main the character” plus you’ll never get tired to doll up and wear something worth to ramp. Not to kill the vibes but of course behind all that we need to be prepared for the cost of living in that city, but who really cares if you get more than what you pay for, the city itself is a therapy.

In her vlog, she talks about how the city turns out like how she expected it when she was a teenager, never boring and if you find the city boring she stated that you are the problem, she says it is a great decision to move there and experience it while they were young, cause it's true, the city belongs to the young striver's and artists at heart just celebrating life.

She gives detailed anatomy of how to live a doable life in NYC, each month summarizes to cost you about $1650 it conclude the best place to get a cheap apartment, aside from money for some emergency, a subway ticket unlimited pass for a month, and if you are not that sociable person who can stay and eat inside the house that budget will do also with groceries and if you are expecting to take a job it is better to have an agency and research about it, stories of success came because they get an agency to help them find work, but be careful about what you sign in, reading in and outs of the paper is a must and knowing their percentage, also just research and research about the work culture.

There is a lot of opportunity in NYC whatever your race is, Even you can take the privilege of being there, vlog your day to day everywhere and create content in just how a day in your life goes just be real and creative, I think it is a great idea to have a venue of work through vlogging or blogs when you are there and people are very diverse, and it is kindly to think that they are very grounded because they also came from different places it’s like you all came from another birthplace but go there and live in meeting places. In short, they are also just busy being a workaholic so no judgment at all in your work status.

Camie says It is very challenging in a different way like the adjustment of the weather, the people are very straightforward, and the budget because of the temptations around you, so you need to make it work because you’re experiencing a new place means you’re ready for the changes in your lifestyle.

To be ready in moving you just have to do a lot of research and immersion even if you are still planning you should act as if you need to know it all, the hows of the documents.

So if you are thinking dreams are just made to be dreams take it away from Camie Juan who refuse to believe in it anymore because she proved that whatever you expected life to be whether your vision is so high or so low it will come to you on how you vision it to be, so why not make it big, focus on it and just go do it and life will take care of everything else that follows, the thing is everything is enough for anyone who has a dream and you just need to have faith and always ready to accept. Maybe someday is not a great day and you just wanna feel sad but imagine feeling sad in NYC still you'll feel grateful for being sad in that place. So don’t live negatively because you know you don’t deserve it.
