Go led launch of 87th Malasakit Center in Cainta
Senators Bong Go and Mayor Kit Nieto led the inauguration at the Malasakit Center at Cainta Municipal Hospital.



ANTIPOLO, Rizal - Senator Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go personally attended the inauguration of the third Malasakit Center in the province of Rizal and the country's 87th Malasakit Center, which opened at the Cainta Municipal Hospital in Cainta, Rizal. In Antipolo City and Binangonan, the one-stop-shop for medical assistance is located in public hospitals.

“Hindi nyo na po kailangan pa pumunta ng Maynila na napaka-traffic. Magtulungan po tayo para dito sa Malasakit Center lalong lalo na po sa mga kababayan natin dito sa Cainta,” Senator Go said.



“Meron na po kayong dalawang Malasakit Centers dito sa probinsya ng Rizal. Isa po sa Antipolo at isa rin po sa Binangonan. So, pangatlong Malasakit Centers na po ito sa probinsya ng Rizal,” he added.

Cainta, Rizal "Kit" Mayor Johnielle Keith Nieto thanked the senator for providing their town with the Malasakit Center.

“I am here now to express my gratitude to Senator Bong Go for not forgetting us,” Mayor Nieto said.



The mayor shared that he wrote to Go and he immediately responded to him.

“So sabi ko kapalan ko mukha ko subukan kong sumulat, so a week after there was a mini presscon I had at hindi ko alam na aabot sa kanya yung request,” Nieto said.



“Ang nangyari lang nagkaroon ng pandemic kaya medyo tumagal siya but immediately I had this building renovated to fit the requirement of the Senator of his program,” he added.

Malasakit Center which serves as a one-stop-shop to make it easier to seek help in treating the poor because the representatives of government agencies such as the Department of Health (DOH), Philippine Charity are brought together in one office. Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth).

The Malasakit Center was introduced by Go in Cebu City in February 2018 when he was the President's Special Assistant together with Secretary Michael Lloyd Dino, the Visayas' Presidential Assistant.
