Kidnapping suspect arrested in Trece Martires City


TRECE MARTIRES CITY - One of the suspects in the kidnapping that took place in Trece Martires City where five victims were successfully rescued on November 24, 2020 was arrested in Pasig City.

PLTCOL Jose Junar Alamano, Chief of Police of Trece Martires City identified the suspects as Jonald Amador y Lagar, 36, former OFW and resident of Pasig City; Dennis Oligario; with runaway ‘Dong’; and two unidentified men.



According to the Facebook post of the Cavite PPO, Dainalyn Avisado, a witness, said that around 3 pm on November 24, some men suddenly entered a home in Brgy San Agustin, Trece Martires City where the victims Dina Abilar y Torreta, 23; with his one-year-old son and one month; his mother Elena Abilar y Torreta, 57; and sister Dorina Abilar, y Torreta, in a white Mitsubishi L300 van and hurried off to Governors Drive.

After receiving the report, a joint operation was conducted by elements of the Trece Martires City Police Station and Sta. The Lucia Sub-Station-Pasig City Police Station that resulted in the arrest of one of the suspects identified as Jonald Amador y Lagar at his condominium in Pasig City around 8:30 pm on November 24, 2020.



1 unit of Cal was also recovered from the suspects. 9mm Armscor; 1 piece of Cal magazine. 9mm; 5 pieces of Cal cartridges. 9mm; 50 pieces of cal. 22 cartridges; and various paraphernalia drugs.

PCOL Marlon Santos, PD, Cavite PPO praised the successful arrest of the suspect while the police continue to conduct follow-up operations and investigations to find out the identity and arrest the other suspects.
