Livelihood starter kit, distributes to STK women members in Laguna
Laguna Gov. Ramil Hernandez

CALAMBA CITY, Laguna - Spearheaded by Laguna Gov. Ramil Hernandez with Representative Ruth Mariano-Hernandez the distribution of livelihood starter kits for members of the Tama Kababaihan (STK) service that is part of the Ratsada Hanapbuhay program.

According to Gov. Ramil in his FB Post, Ratsada Hanapbuhay is an online livelihood training program provided by the provincial government for the provincial STKs. The purpose of the program is to provide training in various livelihood programs that can start the livelihood and income of women in the province.

The partners in promoting the program are Congresswoman Ruth Mariano-Hernandez and Provincial Government offices such as the Special Livelihood Office (SLO), Provincial Public Employment Services Office (PESO), Provincial Veterinary Office (PVET), Field Agricultural Extension Services Office (FAES), and Provincial Nutrition Action Office (PNAO). Each office has its own livelihood program that will be offered to women members through online training and modules.

Distributed starter kits contain the necessary ingredients for bag making, doormat making, potholder making, dishwashing liquid, fabric conditioner and powder detergent. This is a big help in starting a small livelihood which will be guided by the office of the Special Livelihood Office headed by Mrs. Teresa Reodica.

"Sa kabuuan ay nakapagbigay tayo ng 15 livelihood starter kit para sa mga STK ng ikatlong distrito ng lalawigan, at 26 naman para sa ika-apat na distrito," Gov. Ramil Hernandez FB post said.

"Kahit mahirap ang pinagdaraanan sa paglaban sa pandemya ay patuloy tayong naghahatid ng mga programa para sa kagalingan at kabutihan ng mamamayan ng lalawigan."

"Sa ating mga STK, nawa ay gamitin at pagyamanin pa ninyo ang inyong mga kaalaman sa pagsisimula ng negosyo at maging susi nawa ito ng inyong pag-unlad."

Gov. Hernandez thanked Congresswoman Ruth Mariano-Hernandez, Provincial Administrator Atty. Dulce Rebanal, SLO, Sectoral Concern Office, and all those who make up Ratsada Hanapbuhay in supporting and assisting the said program.
