RODRIGUEZ, Rizal - More than 15,000 individuals or 3,000 families remain in the evacuation center in Montalban, Rizal after Typhhoon Ulysses.

According to the data, a total of 15,591 people or 3,363 families are still living in evacuation centers.

Some residents of Barangay Banaba, San Mateo, Rizal slept on the side of the road for four nights after typhoon Ulysses hit.

Some covered courts and schools in the town served as evacuation centers. In addition, the residents have not been able to return to their homes because some areas still do not have electricity supply.

Nearly 800,000 Meralco consumers still have no power supply after typhoon Ulysses hit.

According to Meralco, the total number of power outages reached 784,954. Repairs of the damaged poles are completed.
