PAGBILAO, Quezon Province – On Saturday, November 28, 2020, The Municipality of Pagbilao started to operate their Christmas Display and opened it to the public which is located in the Municipal Park of Pagbilao Quezon near St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish.
It’s been a tradition in every municipality to celebrate and share Christmas with everyone. With this, each municipality decorates their themed park or even their municipal office to share with everyone the spirit of Christmas.
As the municipality celebrates the feast of St. Catherine of Alexandria with the theme of “Kasiyahang PagbilaoWin, Tuloy-tuloy sa Pagniningning they ended the feast by holding their tradition, The Christmas Park Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony to the public headed by the Municipal Mayor, Mayor Shierre Ann Portes-Palicpic.
Every year, people have been waiting for this tradition but under the IATF Guidelines, people who used to visit the park to participate in the said activity stayed at home and watched the Ribbon Cutting and Opening via Live Streaming of the Municipality of Pagbilao Official Facebook page.
It is a great way on how to end the celebration of the feast because it reminds everyone that we can still celebrate Christmas despite the pandemic and it is still a joyous year even if we stay at home.
The Christmas-themed park is open to the public and can be visited every day from 6:00 am to 9:30 am while practicing the COVID-19 protocols.
