The meeting discussed Executive Order No. 70 - “Institutionalizing the Whole-Nation Approach in Attaining Inclusive and Sustainable Peace, Creating a National Task Force to End Local Communities Armed Conflict and Directing the Adoption of a National Peace Framework” where the government prioritizes the delivery of basic services to more needed areas as well as areas with ongoing unrest.
It also seeks to form a national task force that will help end the local communist conflict where there are community re-integration programs for CPP-NPAs.
In a message delivered by Mayor Beverley Dimacuha, he announced that the city of Batangas remains quiet and orderly. He said this proves that some businessmen want to build a business in the city despite the pandemic.
