BATANGAS CITY - The Integrated Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) of the Batangas city government is now open on the 4th floor of the Bay City Mall which aims to provide a quick and simple business registration and renewal process in Batangas City, December 16.

For Step 1, there are 9 windows for “Filing and Assessment” and 5 windows for Pay or Claim.

It contains regulatory offices that provide certification or clearance for obtaining business permits which include the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO), City Health Office (CHO), City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) Environment and Natural Resources Office ( ENRO), City Treasurer's Office (CTO), Office of the City Veterinarian and Agricultural Services (OCVAS), Office of the City Market Administrator (OCMA) and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

There are 20 staff from the License Division of the City Treasurer’s Office to receive payment of business permits, transfer tax, rentals, clearances and cedula pickers.

The Information Technology Service Division (ITSD) has staff to provide information on online registration and online payments while Defense and Security Services (DSS) personnel maintain order and security as well as the implementation of safety protocols against COVID -19.

There is also a place for applicants who will need clearances and requirements from national agencies such as Philhealth, PAG-IBIG and Social Security System (SSS) and DTI.
It also has a conference room that can accommodate 15-200 people.

For clients wishing to line up early, they can pass through the basement of such mall at 7:30 in the morning while the entrance of the mall can be used when it opens at nine in the morning.

The local government did not spend any money on the construction of the Integrated BOSS because it is under the contract obligation of the Bay City Mall.
