Angono, Rizal has already opened pre-registration for the COVID-19 vaccine for its residents.
Angono, Rizal Mayor Jeri Mae Calderon urged its constituents to register for online pre-registration for the COVID-19 vaccination.
The schedule of vaccines will also be available through the system. Scheduling will take place on the basis of the overlapping phase of the town's policy to manage the limited supply of vaccines.
The system includes the ability to pre-register, receive real-time alerts on the availability of vaccinations, and make appointments to get vaccinated when supplies permit.
Individuals may opt to receive regular information and communication updates on the vaccination process. The system allows people to choose their preferences for communication through text, email or regular telecommunication networks.
The Mayor added that those under the age of 19 can apply because those under the age of 18 will be included first until the vaccination guidelines are not clear.
Meanwhile, Mayor Caderon also reminded that registration is not mandatory.
