Binangonan police station extortion, to be investigated




The Philippine National Police (PNP) has ordered an investigation into the extortion at the Binangonan Municipal Police Station.

According to the report, the PNP Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (IMEG) recently arrested Albert Domingo and Pablo Dolfo who are civilian assets of the Binangonan Police Station. Seized from the two were money, cellphone, car, and motorcycle.



PNP chief of Police General Debold Sinas was ordered to investigate Binangonan police chief Lieutenant Colonel Ferdinand Ancheta because he said he was responsible for the alleged extortion of its personnel.

Meanwhile, the PNP-IMEG is in the custody of additional information for the PNP investigation.
