Cavite PNP arrested 154 individuals in an overnight anti-criminality and quarantine operations



IMUS CITY, Cavite - Cavite Police Provincial Office arrested 54 personalities in an overnight anti-criminality campaign and recorded 100 Community Quarantine violators.

In the campaign against illegal drugs, thirty-two (32) personalities were arrested in 19 buy-bust operations conducted in Cavite City, Bacoor City, General Trias City, Imus City, Rosario, Tanza, Carmona, GMA, and Alfonso and confiscated a total of 62 small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu, 16 pieces small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing dried leaves suspected as Marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.



In the campaign against wanted persons, eight (8) suspects were arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest to include 3 Most Wanted Persons listed as Top Nr 6 in CALABARZON (Regional Level) identified as Joanna Marie Sayos Y Wong of Brgy San Agustin III, Dasmarinas City accused for the crime of Parricide under Criminal Case No. DC-9646-20; Top No. 4 EMPO in General Trias City identified as Darwin Marasigan y Tupas of Brgy. Buenavista 2, Gen. Trias City accused for the crime of Qualified Theft under Criminal Case No. RQZN- 07225-CR and Top No. 7 Manhunt Charlie and Municipal Level in Naic, Cavite identified as Rodolfo Bilugan Jr. y Cailao, of Brgy.,Bukana Malaki, Naic, accused for Violation of Republic Act 9165 (Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) under Criminal Case No. NC-405-18. Five other wanted persons were arrested for the crime of Attempted Homicide in Imus City; Robbery in Dasmariñas City; Violation of RA 9262 (Anti-Violence against Women and Children) in Dasmariñas City; and Grave Threat in Silang, Cavite.

In the campaign against illegal gambling, thirteen (13) persons were arrested while engaging in illegal cockfighting activity (Tupada) in Bacoor City and Dasmariñas City and confiscation of 9 pieces of gaffs, 4 fighting cocks and cash money amounting to Php5,080.00 in different denominations as bet money.



One suspect involved in Reckless Imprudence Resulting to Physical Injuries in Noveleta was arrested.

On the other hand, 100 Community violators were recorded for not wearing Face Mask, Face Shield, Violating Physical Distancing and Curfew Hours within the province of Cavite.



The arrested suspects were brought to the stations and documentations are being undertaken for filing appropriate charges before the Office of the City/Provincial Prosecutor.
