CALAMBA CITY, Laguna - The Department of Agriculture (DA) CALABARZON committed to grant a brand new hauling truck to the Pinagdanlayan Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PMPC) in Dolores, Quezon.
DA CALABARZON Officer-In-Charge Regional Executive Director Vilma M. Dimaculangan made the commitment during the visit to the PMPC coffee processing facility on January 15, 2021, together with Dolores Mayor Orlan A. Calayag.
"This initiative will not be possible without the help of Mayor Calayag," Dimaculangan said.
Dimaculangan hopes the cooperative will fully utilize the promised hauling truck by delivering their products to Metro Manila and continuously participating in DA's KADIWA project.
PMPC Chairman Mr. Apolonio de Rosales expressed his utmost appreciation for the DA's continued support to Pinagdanlayan coffee farmers.
"Magagamit po namin sa pagbebenta ng aming mga produkto ang pangako pong hauling truck ng DA. Maraming salamat po!," Mr. de Rosales said.
(We can use in selling our products the promised hauling truck by the DA. Thank you!)
In 2018, DA CALABARZON awarded the coffee processing facility to the PMPC. (PIA-4A/DA-RFO IVA, RAFIS)
