BATANGAS CITY - The City Disaster Reduction Risk Management Council (CDRRMC) held a webinar on 25 January to provide adequate knowledge and readiness for city government staff on what to do in the event of a disaster as well as on how to avoid COVID-19.
This is the Virtual Orientation on Occupational Safety and Health, including COVID-19 updates in Batangas City, and the Health and Safety Standards and Protocol.
City Health Officer Dr. Rosanna Barrion explained the Community Health and Health and Safety Standards Protocol of COVID-19.
Engr. Armando Plata, chief of the Electrical Division of the City Engineer's Office (CEO) addressed the subject of basic occupational safety and health including housekeeping and electrical safety while fire safety standards were the subject of SPO4 Roy S. Castro of BFP Batangas City.

Approximately 100 staff members of the first batch participated in this task.
Virtual orientation will take place three times a week until March, with the participation of three employees per department.
