2021 is a year of never will be fearful again, a lot of people continue to learn and to know that we all can attract anything we want as long as we manifest and project it to the universe. For the betterment of your journey, these three films deliver a great explanation of how we can bring so much more into our lives and yet so much lighter.
Netflix once again contributes to making films that can a-test the vast awareness of how great this universe is, these films are a tool for us to make room for what is important matters to our life and which are not. Films we should watch is The Minimalist: Less is now; The film tackles about two long-time friends named: Joshua Fields Milburn and Ryan Nicodemus; who’ve outgrown their previous version of themselves by going to a new lite way of living which is “Minimalist”.
What, how, why? They did this project when they noticed that people who have none have plenty of stuff that was given to them which is unnecessary yet this person keep taking it in their house because they thought they needed those to fill in the blanks things on their home, but those who are abundant and have plenty live life with houses that is simple lifestyle yet functional and practical.
For them to make room for the new things- or more important than material “things” they should first make a clear entryway and spacious room for it to come— so they give, sell and donate as much as possible all the things that never really added value in their life, things that don’t contribute to making memories that “spark joy to them” “Life truly begins only after you have put your house in order” as like Marie Kondo says in her book titled Spark Joy. They go all out from the tiniest kitchenware to the clothes and furniture, they donate it all put it in the box, and let it go.
It helps them not just translate their home and also their life with fewer clutters and stuffs, making the sentimental things stay and letting go of things that just don’t make sense and just add weight on them. Minimalist is the best first step in letting in what matters and for the most part continuing the practice by not being a lame consumer, “Buying things we didn’t need for the people we didn’t even like”.
The second film is The Mind Explained, scoring 8/10 on IMDb. I'm gonna highlight that the documentary is narrated by Emma Stone, consisting of 1 Season were in her voice made the film so fascinating. It's about distinguishing the complexity and power our brain holds. It is a documentary that complements to soothe us with information that is very understandable and not bombarded with dry sketchy formulated information and dates of our brain. It is just a soothing and fascinating way of letting you follow through to know amazing and insightful answers in your life wherein the brain is a huge component. It is also not just about the experiences with the brain alone, in most parts it is about distressing the part of whole human experiences.
The third film is my favorite Headspace guide to meditation. Is one word Perfect can I add more words? Relaxing. This film is a spa in my brain. It is a gift for sure, a gift in our eyes because of its animation made so quirky and lite, a gift in my ears because of how fruitful the knowledge it brings. It is a slow truthful step to let go of distractions and stress in our lives. It is just an introduction to how life is not that cruel at all. We just need to watch these Episodes in your life for a chance to be more grateful and to show up greater in your life. It is a story that you’ll never get tired to follow because of how it is a remedy to find ease.
These three films Are a pearl of pure wisdom we should now, even at an entry-level, for us to know that life and the world are not so stupid at all. It is a period of just unlocking how gifted our universe is. Through these films, we can learn to shift our perspective and to be motivated on how we are not hopeless and just start over 2021 to focus on being better with our own set of limitations and with no fear of thinking we can’t do it, not those fears anymore.
