LUCENA CITY - The Suarez Complimentary Assistance and Response for Education Sector (CARES) Service was provided to public teachers from elementary to secondary in Tayabas City this past Tuesday, February 16, 2021.
It is estimated that about 900 teachers received cash assistance and 5 boxes of bond papers for 32 elementary schools and 4 high schools were distributed during the said activity although Tayabas City was caught the Provincial Government ensured that the support needed by the teachers in Quezon Province.
Governor Danilo E. Suarez accompanied Vice Governor Sam Nantes, 1st District Board Member Alona Obispo, Tayabas City Mayor Ernida Reynoso, and Sangguniang Lungsod ng Tayabas along with Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Aniano Ogayon, Principals and Department Heads.
Meanwhile, SDS Ogayon is very grateful for Governor Danny's continued support for the teachers of Tayabas City as well as for the aid given to them.
Mayor Reynoso, on the other hand, shared some of the assistance provided for the education sector in his City which he serves in conjunction with several other programs for the education sector.
The Provincial Government is joined by Vice Governor Nantes and Bokal Obispo in every service brought to the various sectors of our Province in this regard their recognition of teachers for continuing to perform their duties despite the great challenge of the situation caused by COVID-19 along with a reminder of extra caution to continue to fight the virus threat.
In a message from Governor Suarez, he announced that the Provincial Government is ready to provide support to the education sector for the development of quality education in the Province as well as his recognition of teachers who shape the knowledge and culture of the youth. He also announced some extended programs conducted by the Provincial Government for Quezonians.
Meanwhile, on the same day, 4 canopy tents were provided for the Barangays of Calumpang, Iba. Ilasan, Lalo and Masin of Tayabas City. The blessing also took place at the Quezon Medical Center’s San Lorenzo Ruiz Chapel and Bacteriology Section Lab led by Governor Suarez, Bokal Obispo, Provincial Administrator / Agriculturist Roberto Gajo and Chief of Staff / Executive Assistant IV Jenny Suarez-Lopez.
