It is estimated that Yakap at Halik Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MPC) exports nearly seven (7) tons of vegetables, root crops, and value-added products from Cavite province to various markets/stores, restaurants, and villages in Metro Manila such as the cities of Muntinlupa, Taguig, Parañaque, and Quezon; and even in Divisoria, two to three times per week.
About 55 to 60 families of organic farmers, who are members of the cooperative, are directly involved in collecting and transporting their produce from its own technology-demonstration / communal / cluster farm.
Mr. Gabriel Arubio, the chairperson of the cooperative, said that their members continue to work together through the Department of Agriculture and Income and Income (KADIWA) project of the Department of Agriculture to ensure that their products are accessible to people or directly related to consumers or consumers.
Yakap at Halik MPC also supply their produce and products to some marketing and distribution companies, such as Philtycoon International, Co., and SARI by Mr. Rodrigo "Jiggy" D. Manicad, Jr. (DA-RFO IVA, RAFIS)
