115 people fined for violating health and safety protocols in San Pablo City

SAN PABLO CITY, Laguna - A total of 115 people who violated ordinances on health and safety protocols in this city were arrested and fined in the rigorous operation conducted by the Task Force (TF) Disiplina.

Of the number mentioned, 92 were caught without a face mask, two (2) without a face shield, two (2) violated the curfew, 15 were minors and senior citizens covered by the exit ban, one violated liquor ban, one is violating the no barrier and two (2) in exceeding the number of passengers on the tricycle.



According to TF Disiplina head and Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officer (LDRRMO) IV Vanessa Reyes the TF Disiplina was formed by Mayor Loreto Amante based on Executive Order No. 2021-09.

A subcommittee under the San Pablo City Inter-Agency Task Force, the TF Discipline will ensure strict enforcement of ordinances, proclamations, memoranda, and executive orders regarding public health and safety protocols.



Earlier, the TF Discipline toured various barangays from March 1 to March 7, 2021, to first issue a warning to those caught violating health and safety protocols in the city. After one week, those caught violating will be issued a citation ticket, fined, or penalized by community service.

Led by the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, members of the TF Discipline include the City Health Office, City Traffic Management Office, City Treasurer's Office, City Social Welfare & Development, Business Permit, and Licensing Office, Philippine National Police-San Pablo City, and Philippine Red Cross-San Pablo City.



In addition to apprehending violators of public health and safety protocols, TF Discipline also conducted the inspection and checking at resorts in San Pablo City to ensure compliance with Resolution 104 s. 2021 from the IATF and the other health & safety protocols against COVID-19.
