BATANGAS CITY - The Batangas Provincial Government has already started distributing P150-million worth of assistance to the Batangueños amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
According to a report by the Batangas Provincial Information Office, the distribution of aid began on March 25 in Ibaan town where the provincial government provided food packs, vitamins, face masks, and face shields.
The Batangas PIO added that the distribution of aid is in accordance with the directive of Gov. Hermilando Mandanas to provide appropriate incentives to families or households that do not have a recorded confirmed case of COVID-19 among its members, and to provide support to families who have not yet received any assistance from the government.
“Sa mga hindi nakasama sa contact tracing, bilang pagtulong sa mga talagang sumusunod sa ipinatutupad na health protocols, magbibigay tayo sa kanila,” said Governor Mandanas at the weekly meeting of the Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force.
Given where Gov. Mandanas continue to consistently follow minimum health protocols such as wearing a face mask and face shield to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
