CALAMBA CITY, Laguna - Through the Gender and Development office, the Los Banos town government has launched #IJuanaHelp, online advocacy for a cause.
Online advocacy aims to help women residents who are experiencing various ailments such as breast cancer, cervical cancer, and other similar diseases.
"Bilang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Kababaihan, nais nating matulungan ang mga kababaihan nating patuloy na lumalaban sa kanilang karamdaman," the Los Baños city government said in a statement.
Through your donation to #IJuanaHelp, you can help women gain hope and financial resources to recover from their illness.
Those who want to extend assistance can send it to LGU Los Baños Trust with account number 1892-1020-97 at the Land Bank of the Philippines.
Based on Philippine data, cervical cancer is the second top killer of women in the country after breast cancer.
