LUCENA CITY - To show his sincere gratitude to all those who helped for the Lucenahin, Mayor Roderick “Dondon” Alcala personally went to the office of the Department of Labor and Employment Secretary Silvestre Bello III.

The mayor was accompanied on this visit by Youth Advocacy Ambassador Mark Alcala, City General Services Office Head Alyssa Mijares, City Public Employment and Services Office Head Cristy Encina, and City Legal office Atty. Shiela De Leon.

Mayor Alcala expressed his deep gratitude for all that he has helped the people of Lucenahin in particular in delivering work for them.



He said that the delivery of the TUPAD or Livelihood Assistance program for Our Displaced/ Disadvantage Workers of which more than 1,000 have been beneficiaries is a big help.

In addition to this, there are other assistance such as the provision of assistance for overseas Filipino workers or OFWs in Lucenahin and their children.



And to the delight of Sec. Bello during this visit made by Mayor Alcala's group, the secretary announced his continued support and assistance to the people of Lucenahin.

It also announced the good news to the mayor and is the delivery of various programs and projects for its citizens.

This visit was made by Mayor Roderick “Dondon” Alcala, Kuya Mark Alcala, and some department heads to show their personal gratitude for all the programs and projects it provides to the Lucenahin.
