ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal - The Antipolo City Government and San Mateo Municipal Government recently held vaccination drives on April 12 with the local SM malls as their venues.
In San Mateo, Priority groups A1 (medical frontliners) and A3 (persons with co-morbidities were vaccinated in the cinema area of SM City San Mateo. The theater lobby served as the vital signs area, registration, vaccination, and recovery stations.
San Mateo Mayor Cristina Diaz also visited the activity on to monitor the situation.
Meanwhile, in Antipolo, hundreds of pre-registered senior citizens belonging to the A2 priority groupwere inoculated at SM City Masinag’s cinema lobby with vaccines provided by the Antipolo City Government.
Antipolo City Mayor Andrea Ynares also observed the vaccination area in the mall to check on the situation.
SM City San Mateo & SM City Masinag partnered with the respective local governments to provide spacious facilities as vaccination centers due to the strict implementation of health protocols which is ideal to serve as COVID-19 vaccination facilities.
