ANTIPOLO CITY - While waiting for additional vaccination from the Department of Health, Antipolo City has suspended online registration for COVID-19 vaccination (DOH).
The remaining vaccines, according to Mayor Andrea Ynares, are already available for those registered under the A1, A2, and A3 Priority Groups who are currently being vaccinated at Hospital Annex 4 Barangay Mambugan, as well as SM Masinag and Robinsons Mall.
Mayor Ynares urged residents not to be concerned, stating that the Inter-Agency Task Force IATF and the Department of Health (DOH) will re-allocate vaccines to the city, prioritizing Metro Manila because the region is considered the epicenter of COVID-19 due to the high number of disease cases.
“Huwag po tayong mag alala at sinisiguro po ng IATF at DOH na magpapadala din po sila ng bakuna sa atin matapos po nilang unahin ang Metro Manila. Ang atin pong sariling biniling bakuna ay malapit na din pong dumating kasabay ng order ng ibang LGU's sa bansa.” the mayor said.
The mayor also stated that the vaccine purchased for the entire city would be delivered soon, along with other LGUs across the country.
