STA ROSA, Laguna - Joint operating elements of the CIDG NCR, CIDG4A, RMFB4A, RACU4A, and Sta. Rosa City Police Station recovered subversive documents, assorted firearms, ammunition, and explosives during an Implementation of Search Warrant against suspect Marites Santos David alias Teacher Laly this morning at Oval Subdivision, Barangay Market Area, Sta. Rosa City Laguna.

The Search Warrant was issued yesterday March 29, 2021, against David who was identified as a member of AMEN or Alyansa ng Manggagawa sa Enklabo and Secretary Committee of PAMANTIK or Pagkakaisa ng mga Manggagawa sa Timog Katagalugan-KMU.



The operating units were able to recover 3 units M16 rifle, 3 units 45 pistol, 2 units Carbine rifle, assorted ammunition, and magazine of different caliber, 9 pieces 40mm explosive ammunition, 14 pieces anti-personnel landmine-IED Explosives, 1 long anti-personnel landmine-IED, and other IED components, 1 unit Laptop, subversive documents and streamers for the rally, and election paraphernalia of different party list and politicians.

Accordingly, the subject house is being used as a Firearms Depot and Place of Orientation for new members, as well as members who will join the armed group in red areas and those who will stage violent actions against government troops. Demonstration paraphernalia is also being produced at the said residence.



Suspect Marites Santos David was also identified as a Member of OLALIA or Organized Labor Association in line industries and agriculture. She was also considered as organizer of labor sectors in CALABARZON, member of RCTU or Revolutionary Council Trade Unions, and Secretary Committee of PAMANTIK-KMU.

According to CIDG, a criminal complaint about the violation of RA 10591 and RA 9561 shall be filed against the suspect who is now at large. The CIDG and other operating units shall continue their operation to apprehend the said suspect. (PIO-4A)
