HOUSE-TO-HOUSE AYUDA. The Santa Rosa city government continues to distribute "ayuda" to its constituents where its distribution has been made house-to-house to ensure the safety of everyone amid the rising COVID-19 case. |
SANTA ROSA CITY, Laguna - More than 172,807 families in Santa Rosa city are expected to receive assistance during the modified enhanced community quarantine.
This is after Mayor Arlene Arcillas announced that the city government has allocated P350-million as additional assistance funds to its constituents affected by the strict community quarantine implemented in the first and second weeks of April.
According to Mayor Arcillas, the additional funding is to ensure financial assistance is provided to all families in the city.
The mayor explained that only 85,307 households will be given assistance from the P341,229,000 fund allocated by the national government which only low-income individuals and informal workers can receive based on Joint Memorandum Circular No. 1 S. 2021 issued by the Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Social Welfare and Development, and Department of National Defense.
He said with the additional funds allocated by the city government, an estimated 172,807 households will be given assistance.
Today, the distribution of aid continues to residents in the city where its distribution has been made house-to-house to ensure the safety of everyone amidst the rising COVID-19 case.
Note by the mayor, just stay at home and wait for the Aid Distribution Team and prepare the necessary documents such as ID.
