TARA NA SA BIDA BAKUNATION. Three mayors in Laguna province have been vaccinated as additional protection against COVID-19 following the Inter-Agency Task Force's approval to vaccinate mayors in high-risk areas.

CALAMBA CITY, Laguna - Following the Inter-Agency Task Force's approval to vaccinate mayors in high-risk areas, three mayors in Laguna province have been vaccinated as additional protection against COVID-19,

Among them is San Pablo City Mayor Loreto Amante of San Pablo City who was vaccinated with its Sinovac vaccine on April 5.

Amante accompanied medical and health care workers, veterinarians, and staff of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.

Amante was accompanied by medical and health care workers, veterinarians, and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology personnel.

Calamba City Mayor Justin Chipeco was also vaccinated against COVID-19 after receiving the first dose of Sinovac vaccine on April 6. Simultaneously, health care workers from a private hospital in the city were vaccinated.

Mayor Chipeco also urged Calambeos on the priority list to accept any government-supplied vaccine.

He stated that it is preferable to have disease protection and that the fight against COVID-19 will be lengthy.

“Sa lahat ng nakapasok sa mga pwedeng magpabakuna, magpabakuna na, pumunta lang kayo dito sa may Calamba District Hospital, we have limited supply lang kaya dito lang muna tayo but once the vaccines come in, iikot na tayo sa buong calamba”, he said. Mayor Chipeco.

The Sinovac vaccine was also administered to Pagsanjan Mayor Peter Casius Trinidad. At the same time, the mayor vaccinated people in the A3 priority group or with comorbidities.

According to Mayor Trinidad, it has improved vaccinators to reduce constituents' skepticism about the vaccine.

“Kasama sa aking tungkulin at paglilingkod sa bayan, minabuti na po ng inyong lingkod magpabakuna, upang paghikayat sa ating mga kababayan na mabuti pong maging protektado at mabakunahan,” said Mayor Trinidad.

Today, some local governments in Laguna continue to vaccinate those in the A3 priority groups or individuals with comorbidity. These include the towns of Los Baños, Pagsanjan, and Biñan City. (with report from CO/FSC
