TAYTAY, Rizal - On Friday, April 9, the Taytay local government began vaccination for its constituents who fall into the A3 priority group or have comorbidity.

Those aged 18 to 59 who have comorbidities or diseases such as chronic respiratory, kidney, or liver disease; hypertension; cardiovascular disease; diabetes; and tuberculosis are included in the A3 priority group.

Taytay Municipal Health Office oversaw the injection of the Sinovac vaccine to priority groups who were vaccinated at various vaccination centers throughout the town.

The Taytay MHO, on the other hand reminded those who would be vaccinated to bring their medical clearance and documents proving their medical condition, which would be displayed at the vaccination site.

It also notified those belonging to the A3 priority group to wait for the confirmation text from the LGU regarding their vaccination schedule.

It also advised those in the A3 priority group to wait for the LGU's confirmation text regarding their vaccination schedule.

“Ang Municipal Health Office ay nagsasagawa ng text barrage para mainform ang mga individwal na mababakunahan. Nakalagay doon ang araw at oras ng bakuna. Kung hindi pa nakatanggap ng text, maaaring ibang araw ang inyong schedule or hindi kayo pasok sa CATEGORY A3," the office said on their official Facebook page.

According to the Taytay MHO, the number of individuals who can be vaccinated depends on the supply of vaccines from the Department of Health.
