BATANGAS CITY - Governor Hermilando Mandanas emphasized the implementation of 30-50 percent staffing capacity in all offices to the Provincial Government of Batangas at a meeting of the Batangas Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force Against COVID 19 and the Provincial Health Board.
Work-from-home arrangements and flexible shifts are also incorporated into employees' work schedules to avoid increasing or synchronizing them in each office.
The move is in accordance with government regulations, and Batangas is currently under General Community Quarantine (GCQ). It is also a method of preventing workplace contamination. It should be noted that the number of Capitol employees who tested positive for the COVID-19 virus from the administrative, finance, and social welfare departments increased last month.
Employees working in the aforementioned office's address and provide services to Batanguenos directly.
Prior to this, the Governor's directive to have a digital shift to use modern technology and make transactions paperless and contactless for the provincial government's service and assistance, there will also be a comprehensive renovation of some offices to provide space for employees.
