More than 8,000 Families benefited in Laguna PNP’s Province-wide conduct of BARANGAYanihan

CALAUAN, Laguna – The Laguna Police Provincial Office, headed by PCOL SERAFIN FORTUNO PETALIO II, Provincial Director and Chief PCADU, and PLTCOL MELISA M MALAYO, in collaboration with Tau Gamma Phi, led by Edmon Pimentel, President, and Queen Louise Restaurant from Calauan, Laguna, organized a BARANGAYanihan with the theme:"Ang Buong Kapulisan ng Laguna ay Nakikiisa sa Bawat Manggagawang Filipino".

Fifty-seven (57) BARANGAYanihan events were held in various locations throughout the province of Laguna to commemorate Labor Day, according to the Laguna Police Department.



It is a simultaneous Project not only in Laguna but Philippine-wide as a whole, wherein 6 Cities Police Station and 24 Municipalities Police Stations of Laguna together with the LPMFCs also conducted BARANGAYanihan in their area of responsibility.

Project BARANGAYanihan benefited a total of 8,050 people, with food packs worth approximately Php 346,000 distributed to the general public.



The program's goals are to foster harmonious relationships within the PNP and in the community, as well as to assist our fellow Filipino workers who have lost jobs due to COVID-19.

This Barangayanihan portrayed the true spirit of “Bayanihan” which intends to provide help and lessen the burden on everyone.



This BARANGAYanihan symbolized the true essence of "Bayanihan," which aims to assist and relieve everyone's burden.
