IMUS CITY, Cavite - Cavite Police Provincial Office spearheaded by PCOL MARLON R SANTOS, Provincial Director has recorded 22, 390 violators and 236 Law breakers on its intensified weeklong anti-crime drive operation conducted from June 7-13, 2021 with significant results.
Cavite PPO recorded 22,390 GCQ violators and breakdown as follows: 2,651 without face masks, 3,551 wore improper face masks, 8,494 without face shields, 5,468 wore improper face shields, 211 violated mass gathering, 238 violated the social distancing and 2,204 violated the curfew hours. Cavite Police gave warning to 19,512 violators, 2,181 paid fines, 414 undergone community services and 1 were charged for other offenses.
Out of 236 arrested, most of those arrested are involved in illegal drugs with a total of 120 individuals; 56 were involve in illegal gambling; 30 wanted persons, 9 of which are included in the list of Most Wanted Persons (Regional, Provincial, City & Municipal Level) while 30 others were involve in various crimes.
On intensified campaign against illegal drugs likewise resulted in the confiscation of 284 pieces small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, 2 pieces medium HSTPS, 1 piece unsealed HSPTS, 6 pieces of HSTPS marijuana and other drug paraphernalias.
Authorities also collared 56 persons for involvement in illegal gambling and confiscation of bet money amounting to P16,957.00 and one (1) for possession of illegal firearms.
