ANGONO, Rizal - Mayor Vice Gerry Calderon visited the Las Pinas-Paranaque Wetland site on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, to replicate the construction of the planned May Puso Wetland Park in Angono.

This research is part of the town's local government program for project development.

Alan Maniaol, municipal administrator, Engr. Arnold Pinon, DRRMO, Nancy Unidad, planning officer, Zenaida Bacani, budget officer, Dr. Joel Tuplano, municipal veterinarian, and other government officials accompanied Mayor Vice Gerry.

In addition, a Senior Citizen's Building will be constructed in this town.

Mayor Jeri Mae Calderon paid a visit and thanked the Province of Rizal for this project.

The aforementioned facility is a huge help for grandparents' programs. The building under construction is in Medalva Village, Brgy. San Isidro.

The Angono town government will also install a "Trash Trap" to collect garbage that flows into the water and prevents it from spreading further, potentially causing a blockage or flooding.

This is also at the request of the mayor, Mayor Jeri Mae Calderon, in preparation for the upcoming rains and storms. The Busilak River Rangers immediately clean up the accumulated garbage.

Mayor Jeri Mae reminded us not to throw trash in the river or anywhere else where it will not be dumped. Keep the area clean and take responsibility for trash disposal.
