“Napakahalaga ng voluntary Safety Seal certification program na ito para sa mga establishment na sumunod sa mga minimum health protocol. DTI’s Safety Seal was a welcome development for the city government, who expressed its support for the program that aims to reopen its local economy that relies not only in its robust manufacturing industry, but also the big retailers that found their homes here.
“One way of adapting is this Safety Seal Check. This program of our government is to bring back confidence. The government has to give some balance as we open our economies. Striking a balance at this time, but this safety check is also one way to tell people ‘it’s okay. We are taking care of you,” Chipeco said as he expressed his gratitude to the government agencies who gave the biggest retailer in the city their seal of approval.
As part of their implementation of the DOLE-DOH-DILG-DOT-DTI Joint Memorandum Circular No. 21-01 Series of 2021, the Safety Seal Certification Program aims to help safely reopen the economy by assuring consumers that the establishments they patronize are following the minimum public health standards set by the government.
Furthermore, it will encourage establishments and the public to adopt the StaySafe.ph digital contact tracing application to strengthen the contact tracing initiative of the government and effectively contain the spread of COVID-19.
The Safety Seal is valid for six (6) months from the date of issuance, which is renewable subject to continued compliance with the eligibility requirements. (PB)
