BATANGAS CITY - On June 15, 2021, more than 200 young people from various towns in Batangas Province attended a webinar titled "Millennial Issues and Concerns: Critical to the Growth and Development of Future Leaders."
In accordance with Gov. DoDo Mandanas' guidance, the online seminar was led by the Youth and Sports Division of the Office of Provincial Assistance for Community Development (PACD), led by Mrs. Fredesvinda R. Mendoza.
It discusses some critical issues and understandings that millennials face, as well as their progress in life during the pandemic.
Topics included information on the Department of Information and Communications Technology's (DICT) Free Wi-Fi for All project, the importance of proper internet use, and the Data Privacy Act of 2012, led by Ms. Jessica Dela Cruz, DICT Training Specialist.
