RD PBGEN CRUZ lauds Laguna PPO in its adherence to the Intensified Cleanliness Policy
Laguna PPO led by PCOL SERAFIN F PETALIO II warmly welcomed the RD PBGEN CRUZ in an arrival honor.

Camp BGen Paciano Rizal - PBGEN ELISEO DC CRUZ, Regional Director, Police Regional Office (PRO) 4A, lauds Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO) in its adherence to the Intensified Cleanliness Policy (ICP) during his first command visit at Camp BGen Paciano Rizal in Sta Cruz, Laguna today, May 17, 2021.

Prior to command visit, RD PBGEN CRUZ rendered a courtesy call to Governor Ramil L Hernandez at Laguna Provincial Capitol.

Laguna PPO led by PCOL SERAFIN F PETALIO II warmly welcomed the RD PBGEN CRUZ in an arrival honor.

During his visit, the blessing of the newly renovated St. Michael The Archangel Chapel was conducted officiated by Rev. Fr. Joseph B Dela Rosa. RD PBGEN CRUZ and PD PCOL PETALIO II led the cutting of ribbons. The newly renovated Chapel situated inside the Camp serves the police office and the nearby community in its religious activities.

RD PBGEN CRUZ later conducted inspection within the vicinity of Laguna PPO to evaluate its adherence to the ICP as PD PCOL PETALIO II showcased the newly built Heneral Paciano Rizal park outside the Camp, and gave food packs to twenty-one (21) selected residents of Barangay Bagumbayan who are less fortunate.

At the covered court, a briefing presentation regarding the peace and order situation of the Province, COVID-19 response, and Laguna PPO’s implementation of the Intensified Cleanliness Policy (ICP) took place.

The awarding of eight ( 8 ) personnel of Laguna PPO by RD PBGEN CRUZ assisted by PD PCOL PETALIO II followed. The awards given are as follows:

Medalya ng Kagalingan given to Police Lieutenant Colonel (PLTCOL) ARVIN B AVELINO, Chief of the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), PLTCOL ELMER L BAO, Chief of Police (COP) of San Pablo City Police Station (CPS), PLTCOL DANILO G MENDOZA, COP of San Pedro CPS, and PLTCOL CHITADEL GAOIRAN, COP of Sta Cruz Municipal Police Station (MPS); and Medalya ng Papuri to Police Captain (PCPT) RUFFY L TADUYO, COP of Pagsanjan MSP.

In a press conference, PBGEN Cruz lauded Laguna PPO in its adherence to one of the thrusts of the ICP – Intensified Cleanliness Policy in the Office. Nevertheless, he said it must be maintained and there has yet to be achieved – the intensified cleanliness in the ranks and in the community.

In a statement Police Brigadier General Eliseo DC Cruz says, (in Tagalog) "masarap gumalaw sa araw-araw na maayos malinis yung ating ginagalawan. It represents our personality. Yung maayos ang ginagalawan natin dahil sa kagustuhan ng ating commander, makikita natin maayos din ang ating pamamalakad. Kapag nakita ng taong bayan na masinop, malinis, maganda ang opisina ng Philippine National Police, irerespeto tayo."
