BACOOR, Cavite - The RT-PCR test revealed that eight close contacts of one of the two Delta variant cases in Bacoor city tested positive.

According to Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla in an interview with DZMM Teleradyo, they are family members who may have been infected with the Delta variant case in Addas 2C village in Barangay Molino 2.



Meanwhile, five close Delta contacts in El Grande Subdivision, Barangay Molino 6, turned out to be negative on COVID-19.

Based on Executive Order No. 25A and in accordance with the National Task Force's "zoning containment strategy," the two areas are currently under granular lockdown until next week (August 8 in El Grande Subdivisión and August 9 in Addas 2C village).



Relief goods also continue to be distributed to 250 families living in Addas 2C while 900 families live in El Grande.
