BATANGAS CITY - The ground breaking ceremony of the Duhatan Bridge in Calatagan in Batangas province was successfully held on July 16.
Residents of Barangay Biga, Calatagan, will be able to travel more quickly once the Duhatan Bridge is completed.
This was stated by Calatagan Mayor Peter Oliver M. Palacio, who expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Gov. DoDo Mandanas and the project's partners at the ground breaking.
The project worth Php55,680,994.80 will be administered by the Batangas Provincial Government through the Provincial Engineering Office.
Batangas Governor Dodo Mandanas also extended his sincere gratitude for the ground breaking ceremony of the Duhatan Bridge.
Provincial Engineer Gilbert Gatdula, Biga Barangay Captain Vivencio Delos Reyes, barangay councilors and capitol staff led the said ceremony.

Meanwhile, on the same day, the “Gender Responsible Farmer’s Field School on Vegetable Crops Production” was launched in Tanauan City at JP Laurel National High School in Barangay Sulpoc.
The program aims to provide 35 beneficiaries with adequate training in agricultural technology.
The implementation of the program for farmers is in cooperation with the city agriculture, Gender and Development Department and Departemnt of Education (DepEd).
If the Duhatan Bridge project is completed, it will speed up the travel of the residents of Barangay Biga, Calatagan.
