PILA, Laguna - The local government of Pila provided P4,000 in financial assistance for the families of patients affected by the infectious disease COVID-19 as additional support to their future situation.

According to the local government report, the families of COVID-19 patient 445, patient 478 and patient 485 were among those who received assistance on Friday, July 2.



Currently, there are 39 active cases of COVID-19 in the town of Pila and monitoring of the sick is still being carried out to try to prevent the spread of the disease.

Citizens continue to be encouraged to unite and register to be included in the local government's COVID-19 vaccination program.
