TAYABAS, Quezon - Likely unmindful of legal consequences of lewdness, a local Lothario with the hots for large-bodied ladies found himself in hot water for an uncalled-for lecherous gesture unbecoming an elected councilor of Tayabas, Quezon.

Tayabas City alderman Dino Marquez Romero, 51, married, of Lovely Village, Brgy. Wakas, Tayabas City can proffer to arresting officers and the courts a most laudable excuse-- he was only emulating what a loathed resident of Malacañang habitually does, with nary a gripe or criminal complaint hounding him, fully clothed with immunity from suits.



At 5’1" with 57 kilos (125 lbs.) to his frame, Romero don't stand a fat chance at grappling and pinning the cynosure of his desire, 22-year old Dhonabelle Fernandez Cocadiz, single, of Brgy Camaysa, Tayabas City. She stands 5’2" and weighs 65 kg. or 143 lbs. without a whit of know-how in jui-jitsu, judo, or aikido.

As the Cocadiz complaint in the local police blotter would have it, she was treacherously attacked from behind:



On July 5, 2021 at about 2:00 in the afternoon in the office of Sangguniang Panglunsod at JP Rizal St., Brgy. San Diego Zone 1, Tayabas City-- Cocadiz was in the kitchen of their office cleaning her coffee mug. For no apparent reason, Romero approached her from behind, hugged her and and copped a feel at her breast.

(Police blotter silent on what happened next, whether a matchstick-sized Romero was thrashed and thrown out the window by Cocadiz. Or Cacadiz wrung herself out of the councilor's amorous clutches.)



Officers on case PSMS Eufrocina Rocio and PSSg Myla Mandapat are preparing a criminal complaint for Violation of Acts of Lasciviousness for filing before the City Prosecutor’s Office of Tayabas.

Meanwhile, Romero remains at large.

Also in hot water for lewd designs is Atimonan Municipal Administrator John Francis Lozano who had installed closed circuit television (CCTV) camera at the ladies' comfort room in the municipal hall. Images captured on the CCTV, he admitted, can be viewed on his cellphone.

Atimonan womenfolk are crying for Lozano's resignation.
