CALAMBA, Laguna - The 11th KASAMA SA PAMANA: REGIONAL PRE-SONA SERIES was held in Calamba City, Laguna, and was organized by the Office of the Cabinet Secretariat (OCS) and PCOO in collaboration with the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), DILG, Regional Development Councils (RDCs), and PIA.

Calamba City, also known as the hometown of Dr. Jose Rizal, hosted the 11th leg of the KASAMA SA PAMANA: REGIONAL PRE-SONA SERIES.



Cabinet Secretary Karlo Alexei Nograles is joined by Undersecretary of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Bernardo Florece, Jr., Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Director General and Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Undersecretary Ramon Cualoping III, and Department of Health (DOH) CALABARZON Regional Director Paula Sydiongco. They present the major accomplishments of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s Administration, the regional accomplishments and future development projects in the CALABARZON Region, and the regional comprehensive report on the COVID-19 pandemic response including the ongoing National Vaccination Deployment Plan (NVDP) in the country.

The purpose of the Pre-SONA series, according to Cabinet Secretary Karlo Alexei Nograles, is to inform the public about the programs and projects accomplished by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte's administration that he may not be able to present and explain in his last State of the Nation Address.



The program includes key officials from national government agencies (NGAs), local chief executives and punong barangays, non-government organizations (NGOs), members of academia, the media, the business sector, and ordinary citizens.

"Sa pamamagitan ng seryeng ito, ipinapaalam po natin sa lahat ng Pilipino sa bawat region ang mga major accomplishments ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte [Through this series, we inform all Filipinos in each region of the major accomplishments of the administration of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte]," Nograles said.



"Nilalatag din po natin plano sa kanyang huling taon ng panunungkulan at hinahatid sa inyong kaalaman ang estado ng ating pagtugon laban sa covid pandemic kabilang na po dyan ang malawakang pagbabakuna [We are also laying out a plan for his last year in office and bringing to your knowledge the state of our response against the covid pandemic, including mass vaccination]," the secretary added.
