GENERAL TRIAS, Cavite - On July 18, General Trias, Cavite's 5th Most Wanted Person was arrested.
According to a report by the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), around 7:15 pm this on Sunday, the suspect was arrested in Kaia Homes Subdivision in Barangay Pasong Kawayan 2, General Trias City.
Dave Caliwa y Rojo, 33, a Store Supervisor and resident of Barangay Pasong Kawayan, was identified as the suspect.
In accordance with the notification of Hon. Jean Desuasido-Gill, Presiding Judge of the Fourth Judicial Region RTC Branch 131, a member of the PIU Tracker Team, in collaboration with an Operative from the General Trias City Police Station, served Rojo with an arrest warrant.
It should be noted that on June 30, 2020, a warrant of arrest for rape was issued to the suspect, who is currently facing the current case of Republic Act no. 8353, also known as the Anti-Rape Law of 1997. (with reports from Cavite PNP, Chief PIU Report)
