TIAONG, Quezon - Cong. David “Jayjay” Suarez's office and the DSWD's Sustainable Livelihood Program recently delivered financial assistance to 100 eligible beneficiaries from various barangays of Tiaong, Quezon.
The program's purpose is to encourage residents in obtaining a start-up or additional capital for their business.
Service delivery included District Officer Diony Rodolfa, Vice Gov. Sam Nantes, BM Yna Liwanag, Atty. Bong Talabong, Vice Mayor William Razon, Coun. Amboy Preza, Coun. Jessa Preza, Coun. Maja Escueta, Coun. Tom Ilao, Coun. Rec Baldeo, Crisologo Preza (ABC President), and Melantie Aceveda (Regional Program Coordinator - DSWD).
Cong. Suarez seeks to revitalize the Second District's economy in tandem with our services resuming their operations.
The Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) is a capability-building program for poor, vulnerable and marginalized households and communities to help improve their socio- economic conditions through accessing and acquiring necessary assets to engage in and maintain thriving livelihoods.
For ten years, the SLP has consistently worked to contribute to the goal of raising Filipinos' standard of living through service-related assistance and support that builds the capacity, skills, and experience of participants from various sectors toward more lucrative business and employment.
