BATANGAS CITY - About 100 frontliners, senior citizens and co-morbidities were vaccinated in a dry run conducted by Philippine Red Cross (PRC) -Batangas Chapter personnel last Aug. 9 at Xentro Mall, the government's third vaccination site in the city.
According to PIO Batangas City, the PRC-Batangas Chapter aims to help the City Health Office (CHO) team get more Batanguenos vaccinated.
PRC-Batangas Chapter Administrator Ronald Generoso said the vaccine given to residents belonging to the A1, A2, and A3 priority groups during the dry run came from the Department of Health (DOH).
Vaccination will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 to 5 pm at the said vaccination site.
Those who will be vaccinated on Friday are those who registered in the barangay and submitted to the CHO as well as those who registered on the online registration form.
Meanwhile, some CHO staff observed the dry run of the vaccination steps and to give recommendations to make the process smoother and faster.
It will also ensure that safety and health protocols are properly implemented here.
