SAN PABLO CITY - City Health Office personnel continue to patrol to monitor and anticipate the spread of COVID-19 cases in some districts in high risk barangays including San Nicolas, San Rafael, San Antonio. II, Sta. Isabel and San Diego.
Led by Asst. City Health Officer and Task Force Incident Commander, Dra. Dina Caponpon visited the said high risk barangays to also instruct the barangay officials for the stricter implementation of ECQ guidelines and health protocols in their respective barangays.
There has been a house to house lock down in some households in the barangays of Sta. Isabel and San Diego where there are several cases of COVID-19. Currently, there is a strict lockdown in Brgy. San Diego were the homes of the families where three (3) died and three (3) more had symptoms. The houses next door are on silent lockdown.
Dra. Caponpon, barangay officials have also been notified for possible mass testing. They are just waiting for the submission of their spot map to determine the clustering of homes in their respective barangays. Barangay Chairmen Alex Reyes of Sta. Isabel and Jeric Caguite of San Diego for the boundary and area they will guard.
The aforementioned barangays have the highest Average Daily Attack Rate (ADAR) of COVID-19. ADAR is the percentage of the at-risk population that had covid-19 in the specified time interval.
Meanwhile, based on the latest report released by the San Pablo City Anti COVID-19 Task Force as of August 9, 2021, 39 COVID-19 positives from larger communities were added, 14 were recovered and two died.
The San Pablo City government led by Mayor Loreto S. Amante extended its sincere condolences to the orphans of SPC C5003, an 81-year-old woman from Brgy. Sta. Monica and SPC C5018, 56 -year -old male from Brgy. Sta. Diego. (with reports from CIO-SPC/PIA LAGUNA)
