ANGONO, Rizal - As a gesture of gratitude for the honor she has earned for our country, a female doctor from Angono offered Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz a free lifetime consultation.

In a Facebook post, Dr. Maria Elena Basco Tiamson shared her “free Pain Consult for life” for Diaz.



Tiamson heads the Pain Management Center of St. Louis. Luke's Medical Center in Quezon City and is currently an official of the Pain Society of the Philippines.

“These victories give us hope and strengthen us in the medical community. Like our athletes, despite all hardships, we continue to fight for our nation. Thank you for lifting up our spirits!” Dr. Tiamson said.



He added that Diaz can message on his Facebook account.

Recently, a businessman, also from Angono, promised a one -year supply of peanuts with garlic chips and similar products to Diaz. (with reports from Nel Andrade and Manila Bulletin)
