LUCENA CITY - Quezon Governor Danilo E. Suarez expressed his desire to provide health workers with the benefit of the Provincial Government's response for their continued performance of their duties despite the risk posed by COVID-19 in a message delivered at the flag raising ceremony of the staff and oath - taking of the new Doctors of Quezon Medical Center (QMC) led by Chief of Hospital Dr. Rolando Padre on August 2, 2021.

This is in response to some health workers who are leaving QMC in droves, with patients and staff suffering as a result of low wages, according to some nurses.

He stated that it has yet to be granted due to the unapproved budget and the Province's subservience to the re-enacted budget.

And they're asking Quezon Governor Danilo E. Suarez to come to see the conditions they're working in while being understaffed, underpaid, and drowning in COVID-19 patients.
