DASMARINAS, Cavite - A ‘Home Vaccination Drive’ was launched in Dasmarinas City for members of persons with disabilities (PWDs) to ensure that they are not left behind in the COVID-19 vaccination program.
“WE PROTECT THE MOST VULNERABLE because we truly CARE and RESPECT our elderly. One of the many initiatives by the City Government of Dasmariñas under my leadership is INCLUSIVITY,” Dasmariñas City Mayor Jenny Barzaga said in her post online.
“With this, we started the HOME VACCINATION DRIVE for our fellow Dasmarineños who are differently-abled and bedridden from ages 18 and above (PWDs and senior citizens).”
According to the mayor, Janssen vaccines were distributed to individuals participated in the program.
He added that the city has set aside 2,000 vaccines as an initial allocation and this will be increased when there is a resupply from the government. (with reports from Mayor Jenny Austria Barzaga FB page)
