KAWIT, Cavite - Kawit Mayor Angelo Aguinaldo was happy to announce that the local government and Binakayan Hospital and Medical Center had signed a formal agreement for the implementation of Outpatient Antiviral Therapy in their town.

The project is one of Kawit LGU's new measures for patients who have tested positive for Covid-19.



“Ito po ay bahagi ng ating mga hakbang kontra COVID-19 kung saan ang mga pasyenteng magpopositibo ay mabibigyan ng karampatang lunas bago mairerekomenda ang pag-quarantine sa ating isolation facility o sa kani-kanilang bahay,” Aguinaldo said.

“Sa pamamagitan po nito ay mas makakaiwas tayo sa pagpuno ng ospital katulad ng BHMC na maaaring makaapekto sa paghahatid ng serbisyong medikal,” he added.



Ito rin ay paghahanda ng bayan sa banta ng Delta Variant na nakapasok sa lalawigan ng Cavite.

It's also part of the town's preparation for the Delta Variant's arrival in Cavite province.
